My Story
I am pretty passionate about anything birth, baby, and mom related. I have known that for a very long time. In 2009 I began looking up schooling to become a midwife (that I am not). This was while I was in my second year as an elementary teacher and working on my Masters Degree. Needless to say, I finished my masters work in 2011 and taught for another five years. On my maternity leave (with #4) I found out I was pregnant .. with yes, #5. I resigned with the school district I taught at and I stayed home to pursue my longing interest in moms, babies, and helping the community.
I soaked up knowledge, took classes, and became certified in many areas of mom and baby. I am at no way an expert, but I pride myself in giving evidence-based and up to date practices in infant care and safety. I am currently pursuing my Bachelors Degree in nursing. Yes, postpartum nurse. I have been going to school for 32 YEARS and changing diapers for 17 of those YEARS.
